1. Enable Required Plugins
Enable:- Ultimate Multiplayer Inventory
- Foliage System
2. Create a Foliage Manager Data Asset
Create:FoliageManagerDataAsset Configure each foliage entry:
- Foliage Type ID
- Mesh or FoliageType association
- Interaction Type (Simple or Complex)
- Optional Complex Actor class
- Optional loot setup
- Respawn delay
3. Ensure Player Has UMI Interaction Component
If you use the UMI default character, this is automatic. Otherwise add:UInteractionComponent Make sure the player triggers interactions through input or continuous trace.
4. Assign Foliage Type IDs
In the Foliage Tool:- Select mesh
- In “Instance Settings,” assign the Foliage Type ID that matches your data asset entry
